As it’s impractical and dangerous for me to continue driving to and from London every day from Hampshire… covering around 1000 miles a week(!), I’m going to be handing in my notice in at my workplace in a couple of weeks or so.
Then I’m going to take the plunge and try and get some contract / temp work down here.
I feel that it’s a big risky step, but it’s exciting as well.
Who knows where I’ll be this time next year with regards to my career, but like I say, it’s exciting and I really do need a reprieve from this monstrous commute.
